Welcome to Petitlatoy toy poodles. My name is Gina and I have been involved with toy poodles since 1992. Petitlatoy formally started after I decided to buy a registered bitch (Gaystep Bonita Brown) and breed my own show dog. Two gorgeous girls arrived and so the love affair started. One of these girls Ch. Petitlatoy Fancy Pants went on to gain her Australian title. My first home bred champion. She later produced two boys by the big winning dog at the time Ch Dootwa Sky Tracker, Petitlatoy Rebel Flyer & Petitlatoy The Red Baron both of which went on to gain their titles as well. Ch. Petitlatoy Rebel Flyer was my most successful dog in the ring, winning 4 Best in Groups and numerous other awards. However the most exciting win for me was going Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal 1998 . There is no telling how far Rebel would have gone if we had kept at it. He was 100 points short of gaining his Grand Champion title when I decided to retire him at 8 years of age. Rebel sired several champion children and is the grandsire of some beautiful toy poodles that are still being shown today. In 2005 I was fortunate to import an exciting little dog Aust Ch Stanlej Endless-Talk (Nwy) "Emil" who gained his Australian championship with several exciting wins along the way. A big thank you goes to Helen Bright (Toyopet) for showing Emil to his title. Emil has produced some lovely children who have gone on to gain their titles. Ch Petitlatoy Who Said What "Nico" (owned by Dale Ward "Zillara") was the first followed by Ch Petitlatoy Endless Love "Fame" (Owned by Debra Randall "Silkyelk" with several more close to their titles and a few promising young stars in the making. I am not as dedicated to the show ring as I once was, but I feel great satisfaction at breeding and placing my poodles into selective show homes were they can reach their full potential. I love being told of the dogs success and look forward to every weekend as their may be another good result by a Petitlatoy toy poodle. Enjoy your vist. Best Regards Gina |
